Wireless LAN

FTI’s wireless LAN solutions can be turnkey projects for your organization. From initial site survey, to Access Point configuration, to cabling and installation our engineers can handle every step of the process
FTI has earned a strong reputation in this field through significant projects like the design and implementation of a wireless LAN for Procter and Gamble’s Paper Processing Plant in Oxnard. This project consisted of providing coverage to 1.5 million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space for use with P&G’s inventory controls system. Additionally, FTI’s wireless LAN solutions provide guest internet access to 15% of all of the hotel rooms in Santa Barbara.
Point to Point Wireless
Whether your organization needs to connect to a location across the street or miles away FTI has a solution to fit your needs. Our Point to Point solution can provide speeds up to 1 Gigabit with the performance and security of cabled solutions.
On the cost side, point to point wireless links provide a rapid return-on-investment, relative to the costs of leasing high-speed circuits. A wireless link can provide up to fiber-like speeds and latency, for a one-time expenditure of about two-thirds of the annual cost of leasing an equivalent fiber-based service. Wireless links also eliminate the initial installation costs for fiber services that may be needed in many cases when new fiber runs need to be constructed.
